BONFIX Leak Before Pressed (LBP) feature
BONFIX red copper press fittings are supplied with “Leak Before Pressed” function using BONFIX pipes. Fittings with this feature have the advantage that as long as the connections are NOT pressed, they will leak water during the mandatory pressure test. This means that a fitting that is incompletely pressed can be easily found. If the fittings are correctly assembled and pressed, then the press fittings are air and watertight!
